CFPA Co-sponsors October 18 "No Kings Day II" Rally in Princeton

An estimated 5,000 attendees packed Princeton's Monument Park for the "No Kings Day II" Rally.

As with the first "No Kings Day" Rally on June 14, this one on October 18 was emceed by The Reverend Robert Moore, Executive Director of Coalition for Peace Action (CFPA), which co-sponsored the event with Indivisible Princeton, ACLU-NJ, and the Princeton Community Democratic Organization.

Comparing the two "No Kings Day" events Rev. Moore observed, "There was more passion on Saturday, more of a sense that this country is going in the wrong direction. It’s getting worse instead of better since June 14."

Noting the current deployment of American soldiers in American cities, Moore cited studies indicating that U.S. society will continue to trend towards autocracy "unless we the people stand up to it and reverse it.
