E-Alert sent 1/20/2026.
Dear friend,
Note: If you are a pledger or annual donor to CFPA, we consider those to be membership categories. So you don't also need to contribute the annual membership in the e-appeal below.
CFPA's request below to contribute your 2026 membership is about to go to our printer to be postal mailed in coming days. If you haven't already contributed your 2026 dues, click here or on the button below to help CFPA save significant postage and printing costs by joining or renewing NOW online.
I'm writing to request your 2026 annual membership contribution to urgently intensify CFPA’s organizing to address the challenges and opportunities we face in this Election year, with all House members and 1/3 of Senators to be decided.
CFPA asks all members to renew, and others to join, early each year. The suggested annual membership dues remain at $80 for a household, or $50 for an individual, with a sliding scale for those who can't afford those amounts. Receiving membership dues early each year helps with our budgeting and cash flow.
More importantly, the larger our membership, the more clout we have with elected officials. So please join or renew NOW! So please click hereor below to contribute your 2026 membership NOW!
Peace Voter 2026 Campaign
Building on last year’s successful Peace Voter Campaign in the NJ Gubernatorial race, we are initiating a Peace Voter (PV) 2026 Campaign with proven results to influence targeted races in this year’s Congressional elections. We expect to target at least four close races in our region that could flip urgently needed control of Congress.
We plan to offer Candidate Briefings by CFPA experts and organizational leaders to major party candidates in those races! We will follow that with Candidate Questionnaires and research on their positions on peace issues. Then we will culminate the PV campaign—in the Primaries and in the General Election--by widely distributing Peace Voter Guides.
Since 1993, when CFPA pioneered the first Peace Voter Campaigns in the country, we’ve engaged in over 50 races in our region! Our Peace Voter Guides showed which candidates were most pro-peace, and most of them won!
Ceasefire NJ Spearheads New Laws to Restrict Ghost Guns
Starting in December 2024 and culminating earlier this year, CFPA’s Ceasefire NJ Project co-led passage of two new gun safety laws. One outlaws possession of software to make ghost guns on 3D printers—which have no serial numbers and can’t be traced if used in a crime! The second bans cheap conversion devices that can be easily installed to turn ghost guns into fully automatic machine guns.
We can only build on our successes and meet the increased challenges in 2026 with your support, starting with contributing your annual membership NOW! If you haven’t already, I urge you to click here or below to join or renew NOW to intensify CFPA's organizing in this pivotal and critical Election Year.
Sincerely,

The Rev. Robert Moore
