E-Alert sent 8/26/2026
Dear friend,
As we close in on the end of summer, I'm pleased to say that CFPA had one of the busiest summers we've had in many years. See some highlights below:
- On June 14, Peace Economy expert Bill Hartung keynoted our well-attended 43rd Annual Membership Gathering.
- We continued to implement elements of the Strategic Plan CFPA developed in 2025, including improvements to our website, increased social media postings, and creating a nominating committee that added new board members.
- CFPA co-sponsored six Hiroshima/Nagasaki Commemorations in the region, including an excellent one in Princeton keynoted by Dr. Alan Robock, a renowned expert on Nuclear Winter. I urge you to click here to see a recording.
- Conducted a Candidate Briefing with Dr. Adam Hamawy, the Democratic nominee in NJ Congressional District 12.
As we transition to the critically all-important General Election on November 3, we urgently need your support to rapidly ramp up funding, so CFPA can itensify our Peace Voter 2026 Campaign educating candidates and voters about crucial peace issues before votes are cast.
According to the highly reputable non-partisan Cook Political Report, New Jersey has a top priority flippable toss-up race in NJ Congressional District 7, and we need your support to make maximum effort to show which candidate is most pro-peace. Click below to make as generous a donation as possible for our high impact Peace Voter Campaign!
Sincerely,![]()
